Being set in the school's grounds - we are very lucky to be able to tap into St Elizabeth's Catholic Primary school's invaluable facilities and resources and the children benefit from a wide and varied range of special activities:

Music Time with Miss Lucia

Once a week we walk the children over to St Elizabeth's Catholic Primary School's Music Room for Music Time with Miss Lucia.

Miss Lucia introduces the children to active music-making. The rhythm and movement activities and lively songs enhance your child’s physical skills which then go on to support early communication and language development.

P.E. on the Astroturf

The children love their weekly P.E. sessions on the astroturf. In these sessions the children are led through planned activities that offer drills and movement challenges geared to develop gross motor skills.

These PE sessions improve the children's co-ordination, listening skills, social skills and develop object-control skills. Effective physical development helps children build confidence, feel the benefits of being healthy and active and have a positive sense of wellbeing.

Spanish Lessons with Miss Lucy

Once a week Miss Lucy leads Spanish Lessons for children in the nursery.

Teaching Spanish to children enhances language skills and deepens cultural understanding. Fluent speakers benefit from improved problem-solving, memory, and critical thinking, boosting academic success and fostering an appreciation for diverse cultures.

Visits to the School Library

The children look forward to their visits to St Elizabeth's Catholic Primary School's library. Exposing a youngster to the imaginations and creations of others is a great way to inspire discovery.
